In previous versions of Joomla you would usually need to go into separate language files to change particular words.
With the most recent versions of Joomla you can easily create something called a language overide.
This can be simply done by:
1. Navigating to Extensions - Language Manager in your administrator panel
2. You will next see a tab named 'Overides' that will need to be clicked on
